At CRS, we perform a full range of ongoing administrative and recordkeeping services including daily valuation of accounts, plan year end valuations, compliance testing, and government reporting.

DOCUMENT SERVICES

One size does not fit all when it comes to the design of a retirement plan. Our use of Prototype and Volume Submitter Documents allow our plan design consultants to customize a retirement plan tailored to you and your company’s objectives.

EMPLOYEE EDUCATION / SEMINARS

If your employees do not understand the need for a retirement plan or feel the need for additional information before contributing to your plan, we can conduct employee education seminars to boost employee participation and address their questions and concerns.

AUDIT ASSISTANCE

If you are ever selected for an audit by the IRS or DOL, we can assist you during this usually complicated and always stressful experience. We have the experience and expertise to guide you through the audit process.


IRS AND DOL CORRECTION PROGRAMS

CRS can assist you in using the EPCRS or the VFCP programs for a fee. We can help in the correction by fixing the problem as well as submitting your plan under either of the programs depending on the correction required.

EMPLOYEE PLANS COMPLIANCE RESOLUTION SYSTEM – (EPCRS)

The Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS) offers a comprehensive system of correction programs for sponsors of retirement plans that are intended to satisfy the requirements of sections 401(a), 403(b), 408(k) or 408(p) of the Internal Revenue Code, but which have not met these requirements for a period of time.



VOLUNTARY FIDUCIARY CORRECTION PROGRAM – (VFCP)

The VFCP is a voluntary enforcement program that encourages the correction of possible violations of Title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). ERISA is the federal law that covers most employee benefit plans in the private sector.
